Slippery is a personal-finance app that helps you see your transactions, find recurring subscriptions, and track budgets. It is a small, independently run project — not a company. This page explains exactly what data it touches and where that data lives.
Your bank username and password are never sent to or stored by Slippery. Bank login happens entirely inside Teller, a dedicated bank-connectivity service. Slippery receives only a read-only access token — it cannot move money, pay bills, or change anything at your bank.
Data is stored in Supabase (running on AWS), encrypted in transit and at rest. Row-level security ensures each account can only ever read its own data. The app itself is served by Cloudflare.
We use no advertising networks, no analytics trackers, and we never sell or share your data with anyone.
Slippery is an independently operated service. Your data is protected by row-level security, so each account can only ever read its own records, and your bank credentials are never stored. As with any small service, the operator retains administrative access to the database and could technically view stored financial information. Connect only the accounts you are comfortable sharing.
Email privacy@slippery.cash and your account, bank connections, and all stored transactions will be deleted. You can also revoke Slippery's access to your bank at any time from your bank's connected-apps settings or by contacting Teller.
